Sorry for the non-posting lately. I’ll do a bigger update soon, but in the mean time I wanted to reflect on this upcoming weekend. I’m leaving tomorrow evening for the Heritage Camps in Colorado. The heritage camps were created as family camps for adoptees – and not just Korean. They have camps set up for Hispanic…Indian….US Born…etc. A really great organization. I was invited to perform/speak about 3/4 years ago. At that time, it was my first and only real exposure to a large Adoptee network. It was very exciting to connect with people that were “like” me for the first time. Since then it’s grown into a second family, and has been the inspiration for much of what took place this past summer (in meeting my biological family). Looking forward to seeing friends and family soon. Will be posting frequently from my instagram/twitter account @DANakaDAN.
